Switched to a keep**** p****word manager. There are several client options that speak the keep**** format on macOS, iOS and Android. While the migration took some effort I never looked back and am happy to now have a setup fully evading capitalist driving p****word managers.

I stopped using LastPass after the 2022 data breaches. And I have switched multiple family members from LastPass to alternative password utilities. It has taken MANY hours for me to make these switches, but I no longer trust LastPass with any of my sensitive information.

Alternatives are listed on this page. I liked 1Password until their marketing took over and ruined it. These days I use Apple's Keychain, Bitwarden and my own locked/encrypted list I back up online.

Since I use multiple platforms, it's either LastPass or Firefox to really handle passwords. I like that LastPass handles serial numbers and other items that I don't want to keep in plain sight.
Considering the late 2022 breach, I've had to re-work passwords and change the master password, which should probably be done every six months anyway. I like their recent advisory to use 600,000 hashes for security. Nothing is particularly safe but their business-related computers should have been more secure.

Let's see... How many times has LastPass been hacked now? At least once in 2015, at least once in 2017, at least once in 2019, and at least twice in 2022. That's 5 so far, and those are just the ones we know about. Can LastPass be trusted with your most sensitive data? I think not.
